Three Die in Missouri House Fire

KANSAS CITY, Mo. --

Three people died in a house fire Thursday night.

Crews fought the fire at a house at East 30th Street and Askew Avenue.

Firefighters said an adult woman was found dead in her bed. Crews also pulled a man and a woman from an upstairs room. They were rushed to hospitals in grave condition. Both later died.

Authorities identified the victims as Trenice Sowerd, 34, Patrick Mosely, 26, and Dola Mae Mosely , 80.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Damage to the home was estimated at $40,000.
