LIVINGSTON, Texas --

Investigators in Polk County are working to figure out what caused a fatal fire that claimed the lives of three small children, KPRC Local 2 reported Thursday.

Flames broke out at a mobile home in the 1000 block of Brock Street in Livingston on Wednesday shortly after 12 p.m.

A woman, her two children and nephew were inside when the fire started.

The children, a 2-year-old and two 4-year-olds, were killed.

The woman was treated at the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The mobile home was destroyed.

The victims' names were not released.
