A four-alarm blaze ripped through two Queens homes last night, injuring 10 firefighters and four residents.

Two of the firefighters' injuries were considered serious, but not life-threatening.

The blaze broke out at 8:45 p.m. in the basement of a two-story home on 128th Street in College Point.

It quickly spread throughout the building.

"I heard people screaming and they were running out of the house," said Bill Tramontozzi, 64, who lives across the street.

"Once firemen broke through the roof, flames went up 60 to 70 feet."

The fire also engulfed the home next door.

A woman inside one of the homes broke her leg jumping out of a window. The two seriously injured firefighters were taken to New York Hospital Queens.

The four civilians and five other firefighters went to other area hospitals, while three firefighters were treated at the scene.
