A Passaic firefighter riding his motorcycle to work was killed when he collided with vehicles stopped in a previous crash on Route 21 in Clifton.

Eyewitness News is told the firefighter crashed into the previous accident on northbound Route 21, near Exit 10B, just after 6 a.m. this morning.

Police say he apparently ran into two vehicles that had collided and pulled over. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities closed lanes of Route 21 for hours as they investigated the crash.
