RICHMOND, Tenn. -- A police officer is cut from his mangled cruiser after slamming into a fire truck on Interstate 75.

Richmond Officer Stephen Parker wasn't seriously hurt. Parker was responding to a crash at mile marker 88 just after 10 saturday morning when he crashed into a fire truck, which was also heading to the scene. He did have to be cut out of his vehicle.

Parker was taken to Pattie A. Clay Hospital for observation, but is expected to recover.
