Round 25 AFG Awards Announced

On Friday, more than $17 million in Assistance to Firefighter Grants (AFG) was awarded to 165 fire departments throughout the United States.

This was the twenty-fifth round of FY '07 grants awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

The goal of the AFG program is to meet the firefighting and emergency response needs of fire departments and nonaffiliated emergency medical services organizations.
