We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We respond to all calls for assistance, both within the Laurel Hill Fire District and provide Mutual Aid through County wide Mutual Aid Agreement. The primary purpose is to prevent loss of life and/or property by Fire, Accident and Medical Emergencies in the Laurel Hill District. This Company presently provides the following services; Fire attack/suppression, Emergency Medical Services R-1 responders. On October 29,1946 a group of residents in the Laurel Hill district met to discuss the possibility of organizing a volunteer fire department at 8:00pm. On November 19,1947 the first officers of the Laurel Hill Fire Dept. were elected to serve as Chief officers.
