White Bear Lake Fire Department proudly protects 36000 people living in an area of 36.0 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. White Bear Lake Fire is a 55 member department responding to fire, EMS and rescue calls. We are one of only a small number of paid on call departments providing ALS service to our fire district. In 1997 we responded to over 2200 calls from 2 stations.
