Orange County Fire/Rescue Emergency Services District #1 proudly protects 38882 people living in an area of 200 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. Since 1993, the Orange County Fire/Rescue Emergency Services District #1 has offered a wide range of emergency and non-emergency services ti the citizens of Pine Forest, Rose City, Vidor, and unincorporated areas of Orange County. Our services range from fire suppression, hazardous materials mitigation, natural disater response, first responder to medical emergencies, rescue, public fire education, fire investigation, and other services which go unnoticed by the general public. The organization currently develops, supports, and offers many educational based programs which can be requested by our citizens.
