About Galvez Lake Volunteer Fire Department:
Galvez-Lake V.F.D. proudly protects 4800 people living in an area of 15 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are in the North East end of Acension Parish. This is one of the Fastest growing area in Ascension Parish. We along with the other 7 Fire Departments in the parish are support by A millage tax.
