About Campville Fire Department, Town of Owego Fire District:
The Campville Fire Department, Town of Owego Fire District, was founded in 1947 and proudly protects 5100 people living in an area of 45 square miles. We serve a mostly rural community with several residential developments and some light industry. Our department is open to the public and whose members are on a volunteer status. We are able to provides Fire, EMS, Vehicle Extrication, Water Rescue, RIT (Rapid Intervention Team), and Fire Police services with a fleet of 9 fire apparatus and 3 EMS vehicles, all of which have been purchased new since 1990.
