We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a 1200 gal. Tanker/Pumper1600 gal. Tanker/Pumper600 gal. Brush TruckRescue department whose members are on a volunteer status. Winston is a small town nestled in the foothills of the Black Range in Southwestern New Mexico. The majority of our calls are wildland. We have 2 Ford L900 tanker/pumpers and an International 5 ton 6 wheel drive brush truck. We serve the communities of Winston and Chloride in our district and we are also the first line of protection for Chiz, Dusty, Poverty Creek, and a number of outlying ranches in the area.
