Bedington Volunteer Fire And Rescue proudly protects 7000 people living in an area of 35 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Established in 1963. Our first firefighting piece of equipment was a 1939 American LaFrance and our first station was a barn. We now operate out of 2 stations with 3 Class A pumpers, a brush truck and 2 ambulances. We currently have 75 members.
