We operate out of one station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. We are the source of emergency response and fire protection for the county seat of Boone County and the surrounding area. Our Department operates out of one station providing structural response, medical first response in association with the Boone County Ambulance Authority, vehicular, heavy and technical rescue, basic haz-mat, mutual-aid responses for surrounding Counties,and fire prevention educational services for school children in our area.
