About Laramie County Fire District #1:
Laramie County Fire District #1 proudly protects 20,000 people living in an area of 180 square miles. We operate out of 2 stations that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Laramie County Fire District #1 was established in 1947 and serves the area south of the City of Cheyenne to the Colorado border. Currently we have 26 volunteers, seven career Firefighters including the Fire Chief.
