City of Jellico Fire Dept. proudly protects 3000 people living in an area of 25 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Jellico Fire Dept. is a combination department that operates out of 1 station. We have 6 paid people and 16 paid on call people. We serve the City of Jellico, Tn. and the surroundinf area on a subscrition service. Our schedule for the paid people is different than most. We work a 24/48 on all days except Wednesday. Wednesday the first 12 hours is work by Monday's shift and the second 12 hours is work by Tuesday's shift giving Wednesday's shift 5 days off every third week.
