Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Granville volunteer Fire Department was established in 1984 as a Non-Profit CO-OP. We operate one pumper out of a station located within the unincorporated city of Granville Tennessee and are one of twelve stations in the Jackson County Fire Department. The Department is all volunteer and currently has 7 members consisting of the Chief, 5 FireFighters and one FireFighter/Medic. The Department recieves no local, county, state, or federal funds of any kind. All equipment, supplies and operational expenses are paid for with donations, fund raising or out of our own pockets.
