About West Mountain Volunteer Fire Department:
West Mountain Volunteer Fire Department proudly protects 1500 people living in an area of 50 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. At the present time we have two (2)grass trucks, one (1) tank truck and a rescue vehicle. We also have a diesel powered light plant and a cascade unit.
