Georgetown Volunteer Fire Co. #1 INC. proudly protects 4500 people living in an area of 8.3 square miles. We operate out of one stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Georgetown Fire District is unique in that instead of covering an entire town or secton of one town, the fire district actually covers parts of three towns in Connecticut: Redding,Weston,and Wilton. We also provide ambulance(EMS)service to our area.
