Garland Vol. Fire Dept. proudly protects 1492 people living in an area of 40 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Garland Volunteer Fire Department was started in June of 1955,by 8 members of the community. Today our Department is made up of 38 member,18 of those being Medically Trained.Meetings are held second Tuesday of the month at 7:00PM.Training is held Third Tuesday and some Sunday mornings.
