About Ethridge FIRE & RESCUE:
ETHRIDGE FIRE & RESCUE proudly protects 5000 people living in an area of 85 square miles. We operate out of 1 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Ethridge Fire & Rescue came into existance in 1979, Using an old military deuce and an a half, with a 1500 gallon tank and a pony motor pump. Thru efforts by the department and local citizens we now operate 4 trucks. 1 class A pumpers,1 class A pumper ankers, a class A pumperheavy rescue truck and a brush unit. Our membership is currently 18 volunteers, but we are always looking for a few good men [women].
