Enumclaw / King County Fire District #28 proudly protects 20000 people living in an area of 40 square miles. We operate out of 3 stations that protect a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. The Enumclaw Fire Department consists of approximately 42 volunteer firefighters, supplemented by career firefighters and two Secretaries. The Fire Department is responsible for fighting fires, providing pre-hospital emergency medical care, fire safety instruction, and performing fire inspections.
