About Davis City Fire-Rescue:
Davis City Fire-Rescue proudly protects 605 people living in an area of 10 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a private department whose members are on a paid status. Although our Fire Department serves in a small area, and has very little emergency calls per year, our department is with out a doubt #1 in the nation. Our experiance even exceeds top departments such as Chicago, New York City, and Phoenix. Davis City EMS however, is still developing to be one of the best Ambulance providers in the nation. In 1999, 13 total Ambulance calls were made, and only 9 of those calls resulted in a death. Our stats will continue to improve into the year 2000, as we plan to aquire 3 new top of the line Paramedics.
