About Lewis Township Fire & Rescue:
Lewis Township Fire & Rescue proudly protects 1700 people living in an area of 34 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. Established in 1967, 19 Menbers,with a Kick Butt,Aggressive,go in and put it out attitude. Started rescue in 1985,first area dept.to use dumptanks and dump valves. Do alot of fundraisers for equipment and have received over $175,000 in Grants
