Climax Township Fire Department proudly protects 2200 people living in an area of 36 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. Climax Township Fire Department serves an area including the Township of Climax and the Village of Climax. We have three pieces of apparatus and ran 100 calls for the first time in 1997. 75% of which were medical emergencies. In 1998 our call volume was down to 85 calls. 60% of which were medical emergencies.
