About Cerro Gordo Fire Protection District:
The Cerro Gordo Fire Protection District serves a population of 6,500 residents in a district size of 110 square mile, which lays in Macon and Piatt County's of Illinois. We run an average total of 200 alarms a year with the biggest portion being the assistance to the community ambulance service in Cerro Gordo. We are currently rated a 6 in the village and a 7 in our district for the Insurance Service Office. Our district is very lucky to have such dedicated and specialized personal and is always striving to improve the department that we have.
