About 1st Consolidated Fire District:
1st Consolidated Fire District proudly protects 15 thouand people living in an area of 110 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a combination of paid and volunteer status. We are a progressive department that works hard to continually meet the new demands placed upon us each year. We have been faced with a slow but steady expansion of residential properties in the last three years. We also have several large industrial companies in our area. The most demanding part of all of this is that it is all spread out over 110 square miles.
