Caledonia Township Fire Rescue proudly protects 12,500 people living in an area of 36 square miles. We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily rural area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a paid on call status. Our Department is located 15 minutes S.E of Grand Rapids, MI and has a population of apx. 12,500 within our township. A mostly rural area, with a main artery to and from Grand Rapids passing through the heart of the Township. Our Team consists of 21 part-paid profesioanls whom are Fire Fighter certified and most are Medical First Responder certified. The department boosts an average length of service of apx. 20 years.
