About Joy Volunteer Fire Department:
Joy VFD is located in southwest corner of Clay Co. Our coverage area consits of approx. 320 sq. miles, which include the communities of Joy, Buffalo Springs, Shannon,and an Independent school district. Our estimated populatuion is roughly 1300.
We provide fire,rescue, and Ems(first responders). We hold meeting every second Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm.
