We operate out of 1 station that protects a primarily residential area. Our department is a public department whose members are on a volunteer status. The Augusta-Bridge Creek Fire Department serves the city of Augusta,and also the Township of Bridge Creek. We provide EMS and Fire Protection. The Fire Department started in 1883 and in 1886 it was established and organized with 22 firefighter, 12 hose company and 10 for the hook and ladder company. In 2011 we will be celebrating 125 yrs of an organized fire dept.
