CHESAPEAKE BEACH, Md. --

A D.C. firefighter is facing charges after being accused of rape.

Capt. Tony Sneed has been charged with one count of rape, assault and other sex offense charges.

Sneed is accused of raping a woman at a home in the 8800 block of Andrews Drive in Calvert County last month.

Sneed lives in Upper Marlboro.

No further details have been released.

The incident remains under investigation.
