BOSTON --

Three more women have come forward with allegations of sexual abuse against a Boston firefighter already facing assault charges.

Peter Pearson, 51, of East Bridgewater, was charged last week in alleged attacks on three women in Brockton and Avon. In one of the attacks he was accused of raping a woman at gunpoint after he posed as a police officer.

He is scheduled to return to court to face the new charges next week, which include two counts of rape, three counts of kidnapping, one count of assault to rape, three counts of impersonating a police officer and one count of assault with a dangerous weapon.

Pearson was released on bail after the first rape accusation, but a few days later, two other women came forward and identified him as their attacker.

The first woman said that Pearson forced her to perform a sex act on him in June in a Brockton park. After she came forward, the second and third women told police that they recognized Pearson as their attacker.

The second woman, a 36-year-old, said that in the spring of 2003, Pearson posed as an undercover police officer and forced the woman at gunpoint to perform a sex act on him.

The third woman, a 34-year-old, said that in February 2005, Pearson posed as the head of the Brockton Narcotics Task Force and forced her to perform a sex act.

Pearson has been held without bail since his second arraignment and remains suspended without pay from his post at the Boston Fire Department.
