MILFORD, Conn. --

Milford fire department crews battled a 2-alarm blaze at a paint company on Buckingham Avenue Tuesday morning.

The call came in at 9:56 a.m. for the fire at Perkins Rouge and Paint Company.

West Haven and Stratford crews were called in for mutual aid.

Area streets were closed.

Firefighters were taken to a local hospital as a precaution.

No injuries have been reported.
