WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. --

A fatal fire at a home in West Mifflin, about a mile from Kennywood Park, is under investigation on Friday.

The fire happened at about 9 a.m. at a house on Shadynook Street, just off Kennywood Boulevard.

The victim's name has not been released yet. She was found on the floor near the entrance to the home, firefighters said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Allegheny County fire marshal is at the scene.
