Adopt a Firehouse --> In Need
Suggest a Fire, Rescue or EMS Department/Agency (and its Members) in Need
Submitting

To submit information about a department/agency in need, please e-mail adopt@firehouse.com with the following information.

  • Department/Agency Name
  • Type of Department/Agency
  • Number of Personnel/Members known impacted by Katrina and describe how so as best possible such as: number who lost homes, homes damaged, missing, need clothing, etc.
  • Department City, County and State
  • Up to 3 contacts at the agency that are known to be reachable or will be reachable in the near future including names, phone numbers, e-mail addresses or any other information that may be helpful.
  • List any ideas that you have for this program.

You can also FAX your information on official company letterhead to 301-486-4556.

Early this week, we'll add an online database submission for this program as well.

Offers of more immediate financial assistance should utilize the various responder funds listed here, and operational support inquiries should follow these links.

We will work with the various industry organizations to ensure the right connections are made to get the support available to those in need. To date the following fire service organizations and groups have signed on to cooperate with and support the Adopt a Firehouse program including:
